Summary
As a Search and New Media Consultant, I assist organizations in
realizing the full potential of the Internet, through New Media
Marketing and Search Engine Optimization.
In December of 2002, I left my position with Vivendi Universal
to start Chapman Interactive Inc, a search marketing and
consultancy organization.
Our primary focus for the next 4 years was to generate real
estate leads for agents and mortgage brokers. We did this
through a number of highly ranked websites such as
www.arizonan.com and the use of Paid Search from Google,
Microsoft and Yahoo. Website traffic peaked at 1.2 million
visitors per year, resulting in 25,000 relevant leads annually
for our agents.
In addition to real estate lead generation, we also used
www.helpaboutcollege.com and other related sites to provide over
10,000 leads each year to educational organizations. Other areas
of experience include finance, law, travel and nutritional
supplements.
My understanding of Internet Marketing began in 1998, when I set
up t-bird.edu, Thunderbird’s first website. As part of this
project, I also was responsible for producing the site and
generating the international web traffic. Almost 10 years later,
I am still focused on the Search and Internet Marketing.
